Considering his recent deranged and noisy house musings together with Mix Mup and on his own, Kassem Mosse's forthcoming album Think and Change is a turn (back) towards more straightforward and truly banging afterhour techno, at least if first snippet "Broken Patterns" is any indication. The industrial-leaning (and indeed broken) structures of the track imediately straighten out that it's not up for making any concessions; it grabs you by the neck and relentlessly throws you onto the dancefloor, making you forget what you had come for originally.
Think and Change is out February 11 via Nonplus Records.
Update: We've been informed that Think and Change is not a new Kassem Mosse album, but in fact 'just' the forthcoming Nonplus compilation that will feature "Broken Patterns". We apologise for the mistake.
