Weird Korea.

Just before the last, blog community shattering day of this year's daylight saving time months comes to an end, I'm definitely in the mood of getting a little rougher, so I've figured that Weird Korea's epic, nearly nine minute spanning garage rock masterpiece Dagger that was dropped into my inbox this week might just be the right thing to express my overall spirit right now. The Purchase, New York outfit has managed to compose a piece of gorgeously raw beauty, valve amplified, somehow 70s rock informed complete with guitar solos and organ parts that has kept me awestruck almost all day. The song, and one hell of a song it is, is part of Weird Korea's debut EP No Art // No Trade, available for free via the group's bandcamp.
