Humans' comparatively downbeat album closer
Montonton 2, a tune of almost Hot Chip-like pop quality, an opaque electro ballad drowned in heavy synth, and if you close your eyes while listening you will for sure see the slow and colourful laser beams wandering around the dance floor.

Minneapolis, Minnesota's Anders Carlson aka
Love Lake sent over this wonderful little tune last week, and now it's finally up here for your delight.
Curses is two minutes of lush marching band drumming, some nice sample works and an overall joyful feel, best ingested together with the wonderful accompanying video collage made by Carlson himself.
Curses is the first track from Love Lake's debut full length which is due in September.

All the way from lovely Copenhagen, Aske and Zacharias of
Age Of Giants bless us with two tunes of purest summer blissfulness, Scandinavian pop glory that'll make you wish you could just submerge into these cool waves of melody and get lost in that warm and lazy breeze of a rhythm.
Age Of Giants are now a five piece and busily working on their first EP that will hopefully come out soon.

Martin Brass from Cleveland, Ohio started
Ethiopians as a mere side project, but after being joined by his college friend Paul, the whole thing seems to become more serious now, and that's obviously a good thing as it means that we can expect further hazy and fuzzy garage gems in the future. For now, listen to the three raw diamonds below (recorded by Brass alone), reverb-heavy lo-fi splendor in the best sense of the term.
Up until now, Ethiopians have released two cassettes on

bhurgeist and his eight track debut

Night Manager's (who we had on these insignificant pages
roughly one month ago) drummer Ezana Edwards just sent over the band's most fabulous track to date,
Wolf Pyramid, which has already been featured on
Altered Zones a few days ago but which is now available here in a slightly different, a little more polished version with an altered mix mainly for the vocal and guitar tracks. In any case, the one thing that has not changed is the fact that Night Manager effortlessly continue to amaze us,
Wolf Pyramid is another straightforward and powerful fuzzy garage tune that simply fulfills every criteria we've ever set regarding the perfect pop song.
