All the way from the remoteness of Mason, Michigan, the blooming high school trio Dizzy Dearest, consisting of the siblings Maggie and Jarod Emison and accompanied by Jeff Renton, blesses us with some incredibly sweet yet complex indie pop. Though the three seem to have completed only three songs so far, From the Mitten Girl shows an amazing amount of talent regarding musicality and production skills. Moreover, the band shows a remarkable penchant for experimentalism, which immediately singles them out as one of the young groups to keep in mind in the future.
