Now this is gonna be special/interesting/crass: Tomorrow night, our friends of
Noisekölln are gonna host a performance by Australian noise artist Lucas Abela aka
Justice Yeldham, a musician who "likes to make sound by employing things that cause bloody cuts", to quote a recent documentary on French/German TV broadcaster
Arte. For a little more background, check out the 2010 interview/live performance on Nat Roe's show at
WFMU. The magic takes place at West Germany and starts at 9pm. For more info
go here.
On top of that, the night will see the launch of the anticipated launch of
Noisekölln Tapes with the initial release of nkt-001, a split between
Ill Winds and
Moon Wheel in an edition of 50. So if you happen to be in Berlin, this is definitely something you wouldn't wanna miss out on.
