We'll keep this brief and on point, "Galice" is a new, rad Hype Williams tune, taken from London 2012, which is out tomorrow, no idea where or on what format, but we're confident that you'll be able to find out in time. Oh, people.
Update: As suspected, "Galice" is part of Hype Williams' tour CD which will be on sale at the duo's London show tomorrow at Tufnell Park Dome.

Unsure/indifferent where exactly this is coming from, but Leipzig's finest Gunnar Wendel aka Kassem Mosse, here probably/probably not acting as Kareem Moser, put this excellent track on his Soundcloud last night. The fractured, dub-infused House of "Escape from Frankfurt" is tagged with "Kassem Mosse for Sounds Of The Universe", so you should probably watch this space in case you want to get your hands on this one, which is what you want to do, really. We assume that's the cover art on the left.

Fragile, hushed melodies courtesy of Berlin-based Japanese artist Masayoshi Fujita aka El Fog, whose candid compositions evoke The Caretaker at his most elusive. Played with vibraphone and reluctantly manipulated by means of live sampling, a loop machine, and other electronics, his LP Reverberate Slowly is a collection of enchanting winter lullabies, your perfect companion for extended walks through this neverending November mist. Following his 2011 debut album The Colour Of Darkness, Ireland's Goodtime has received remixes in aid of the excellent Tropics (amogst others), featured on his remix album The Whisper of the Departed. Next up on the list is Dublin's Jape, re-constructing Goodtime's "Can't Get Away" into a slow-moving, but gloriously catchy pop jam.

Those in the know in Seattle have been aware of Cairo, a vintage store/art space transformed into a DIY show venue at night, for quite some time. This past weekend, the store held its fifth annual art and music festival - EXPO 90. The lineup included northwest bands such as Hausu, Dreamsalon, and USF. Seattle and Cairo favorite Stephanie were among those to perform on Saturday night. Stephanie creates what they describe as "swirl", a shimmery mix of synth pop and punk. It's the type of music that we love in this part of the United States.
Their debut album, One Glove, is out now via Couple Skate Records and features production by Erik Blood (whose name you may recognize from his work with these guys). Stream all six tracks below:
On Clan Destine Records' recent four-way split LP Statement, in a rather unexpected move, lo-fi renegade Alex Zhang Hungtai aka Dirty Beaches' side was dedicated to one single track, the stunning, guitar-centered psychedelic drone masterpiece "Neon Gods & Funeral Strippers" that evoked Sun Araw circa On Patrol sans the tropical haze. A few days ago, Hungtai published an accompanying visual travelogue that perfectly captures the music's mesmerizing drift.

Our dearest friends at Almost Musique has put out singles from some of our favourite pop outfits this year, and as predicted, the Paris-based imprint keep expanding their horizon. Added to the family is the Danish multi-instrumentalist Claus Frøhlich who goes under the moniker Younolovebunny, composing crafty fuzz pop with many influences; everything from UK punk ("Attention") to a more lo-fi version of Mac DeMarco.
