Cuushe “I Love You”

Incredibly sweet, no really sugarcoated new song by beloved berlin via Tokyo dream pop artist Cuushe, whose way too lovely "I Dreamt About Silence" kept us breathless for several weeks last summer. The gently twinkling "I Love You" continues to explore some parallel dimension where everything appears to be cute and light-hearted, though the artwork hints at something discomforting right beneath the shimmering surface: those cuddly cartoon characters look pretty exhausted, most likely just having finished a weekly meeting of Lovesick Anonymous.

"I Love You" is part of an as yet unnamed album, coming July 8 via Tokyo imprint Flau. Cuushe will perform in Berlin as part of a Flau label showcase at Antje Öklesund on April 24. RSVP here.
