Absolutely thrilled by this Danish version of relentlessly enthusiastic psychedelic folk, brought to us by this bunch of five weirdos who once started a band in outer space and then moved to Copenhagen, which is close enough to the moon. I didn't come up with this, it's in the press release so it must be true. Anyway,
Halasan Bazar is the name of these
wonderful oddballs, and the lush, sundrenched song
You Will Know is their first-ever official single, dropped soon on 7 inch via the brand new and pretty exciting, Norwegian-run and Berlin-based (we obviously dig this combination) boutique imprint

Sean Moore, member of Florida dream pop duo
Viernes, has never been satisfied with exploring only one particular field of music. Instead, he's always used different projects and monikers (the cool
Estate Sale Boat, for example) to explore other sonic dimensions, never quite achieving to satisfy his thirst for something different.
Recording under his own name, though, appears to be reserved for the really personal, intimate stuff that occasionally pops into Moore's mind. After last year's utterly wonderful song
Ashley, dedicated to the girl he's married in March of this year, here's the brand new song
Love in Tongues, an equally perfect, instantly uplifting pop song unrestrainedly rich in both instrumentation and arrangement, with a melody so helplessly optimistic that one or two might start to develop a gentle kind of jealousy towards this obviously happy man.

Ashley will appear on Sean Moore's forthcoming full-length
Fragile Age, a thing he's been working on for the last three and a half years and that's due sometime later this year. For the time being,

Been stoked the whole day now by this marvelous, 60s-leaning psych pop stomper and its absolutely appropriate accompanying video collage drenched in nostalgia that was dropped into my inbox by Princeton, New Jersey outfit
The New Lines.
Off Axis starts with a fantastic, drum and organ-dominated intro that's almost bold in its sheer length, meandering along for more than one and a half minutes before the song moves on to quickly become a cinematic, wide screened production with incredible rhythms and beautiful harmonies, always reminding of a myriad of early spy movie scores. Perfect.
The tune is part of the band's forthcoming split 7 inch with fellow psych pop-infused, nostalgia-leaning group
Still Corners, with whom they share their love for cinemascope, with an ethereal and gloomy soundscaping that's at times almost Lynch-esque. The vinyl will be dropped via
