Lee Noble lives in Los Angeles, and when he's not making delightful drone ambient stuff (his most recent outputs of this direction can be downloaded for free via his bandcamp - I'd recommend you do), Noble makes some kind of laid back garage music, beautiful tunes consisting of hazy guitar melodies, occasional tape noises, very reduced percussion and some subtle synth work, sometimes a little beachy without ever overtly jumping on the bandwagon, all in all this is lo-fi pop in the best sense. His latest record Creeping Death Fever has been released by La Station Radar on handmade CDr with artwork by the master himself, limited to 50 copies. Moreover, Noble has recently started the tiny tape label No Kings. For sure something to keep in mind as well.
