Avalon Emerson “Caroline”

Been a while since we last heard news from supreme San Francisco house goddess Avalon Emerson (there are of course reasons for that, but more on that another time), but last night she briefly came back down to Earth to bless humankind with another of her 'Cybernetic Edits' in the guise of "Caroline", a splendid dancefloor filler that employs quite a few twists that sort of mark a departure from Emerson's 4/4 directness of tracks like "Shawty Rock" or "Horoscope", revolving around a tremendously soulful sample for some very serious feel-good vibes. Divine.
