I was so far down there was no sky, Matt Gilles aka Delusions sings at the beginning of the dreamy psych-pop gem "Almost", a line that immediately stuck to my mind when spinning the latest
Kassette Klub split release with
Delusions and Boneglow at the very end of last month. Where Delusions explores sound textures of psychedelia and earth-bound ambient spaces, Boneglow crafts slightly more minimal, but indeed gorgeous electronic pop tunes, completed with those crunchy textures that Delusions also plays around with on his side of the split. All though the two of them work very well under each of their own monikers, together they also make out
Dreampeter, riding on a similar atmosphere to the tunes of Delusions, but definitely worth a listen as well.
The split tape is available via
Kassette Klub, and can be downloaded for free right
here.
