The world better be prepared for an innovative and flawless new project in pop culture. Expertise behind such synth-pop bliss are no other than Brooklyn's own Joel Ford (Airbird, Tigercity, Ford + Lopatin) and Leanne Macomber (Neon Indian, Fight Bite).  After meeting on a Neon Indian/Tigercity tour back in 2009, Macomber revealed a massive amount of demos to Ford, which resulted in a decision to collaborate. Clearly, this release was worth the wait. The duo's first-ever single, "Jeremiah (The Denier)" has authenticity that soars into the future, pioneering a quixotic voyage. Submerged underneath the lush and dreaminess is an essence of self-analysis that lingers. Lyrics like "I'm not gonna fall when you let it go" are enough to justify said conviction.

Ejecta's album will debut this fall from Ford and Patrick McDermott's (North Americans) newly-born label, Driftless Recordings. We can also expect a live act in the near future.
