As the experimental projects
kikiilimikilii and
Gross Bite weren't enough (we've written about both of them earlier, actually), another noisy, experimental slash electronic soundwave has recently started to take shape by the same restless minds of Paris' suburbs — this time going under the moniker
Feu Machin. I can't avoid giving away a few thoughts to the experimental legends Battles when listening to their first EP
Rhino (released on
Ideal Crash yesterday), whose latest record
Glass Drop apparently has been a little inspiration to the trio. Feu Machin still shows off a strong link to the band member's earlier projects however, but are now definitely experimenting with a much more playful, almost childish sound than ever. In a good way, of course.
Stream the album via their
