For Brooklyn native Gem Trails, all elements of the solo project's potential are utilized with meticulous thought and detail. Each created effect is manipulated, diving into an entranced state of looping. "Cashed Out For Real" does not necessarily lead to a climax, initiating a craving for more. This in mind, I would highly recommend seeing Gem Trails' live performance. The intimacy of the set could be enthralling or uncomfortable, as if you're being abandoned in your own thoughts for a half an hour. A missing void may be filled as a spiritualistic type of journey carries you away.
