Dayvan Zombear has slowly but inexorably been creeping its way into legitimacy with its still fairly new spinoff imprint
DZ Tapes, whose third release finally hooked me up. It's
Unschärfe / Schimmer, a split tape between New Orleans-based
Chris Rehm and most notably Berlin's lo-fi, "neo-surrealistic punk" one-man project
Ghostandthesong, who's actually one of the most interesting exponents of the local experimental scene and has been on my watchlist for quite some time now already. Listen to his song "Untidy" below, a droning piece of distorted, gently menacing pop that develops unobtrusively yet beautifully only to collapse in an uncanny swell of noise and mutter.
