Hooker Vision, the tiny yet highly prolific and constantly amazing imprint run by married couple Rachel and Grant Evans, the former aka
Motion Sickness Of Time Travel, the latter
formerly known as
Nova Scotian Arms, together recording as
Quiet Evenings, recently relocated together with its founders from its origin in LaGrange, Georgia, to the beautifully named Winterville in the same state, close to Athens. After some necessary realignment, the couple have finally readied the label's first batch out of the new home, and it arrives in the form of three 3 inch CDs by MSOTT,
Crippling - which is one of Grant's new projects -, and long-standing NFOP regular Paul Skomsvold aka
Former Selves. Listen to excerpts of the artists' extraordinary take on drone experimentalism below.
All come in an edition of 66, so be quick and order them
over here.
In related news, Rachel and Skomsvold are also about to release a split tape via
Constellation Tatsu, which you may get
right here.
