Teen River's January batch
back in, ehm, January, we somehow still managed to miss out on the superb contribution by J Fernandez, some kind of fading summer nostalgia that probably just didn't hit the right spots in the midst of a Berlin winter. On the other hand, it's hardly a surprise to overlook one or two gems when dealing with a batch of no less than twenty tapes, right? Anyway, as a few people did realize how good Fernandez' effort
Olympic Village in fact was, his cassettes sold out fast, and the Teen River dudes recently decided to issue a
second edition. Now while I might be too late on this again, you can in any case cop the whole thing digitally
over here (recommended!), plus the folks are about to drop another tape by this young talent July 5, so be sure watch out for that one.
