Joe Knight, our
beloved San Francisco via Texas resident whose artistic output we've come to know and cherish as
Rangers, has produced a vast amount of incredible music in recent years that was not always put out at all or at least not published under his principal recording moniker. Perhaps in order to reminisce and reposition, Knight has now decided to post some of that material on his new
Soundcloud, which sports his given name in order to avoid any confusion. However, while this might not be "official" Rangers music, the ten pretty amazing tracks of the "Odd and Ends" collection do seamlessly fall into line with the tunes on seminal records
Suburban Tours and
Pan Am Stories, despite all in all being less muffled and haze-saturated. A very worthwhile interruption, take a listen below.
