Digitalis has prepped a pretty exciting record, the debut LP by Chicago drone artist Jaime Fennelly under his new solo moniker
Mind Over Mirrors.
The Voice Rolling was recorded mainly using a medium-sized Indian harmonium, the sounds of which were subsequently processed with a tape echo and guitar pedals. The result is a fuzzy, incredibly rich and warm record that leaves the listener thoroughly mesmerized, lost in some immense and deeply unsettling psychedelic soundscapes.
