Discoverer is the solo work of Kansas City resident Brandon Knocke, a project initiated to explore and expose the hidden fringes of modern electronica by means of meticulously stripping the structures of synth-driven music to their very core. What remains is a delicate version of cathartic pop that sports a certain appeal of retro-futuristic otherworldliness, carefully layered constructions and diligently textured compositions whose sublime craft no disciple of the Berlin School of electronic music could've ever surpassed.
