It is perhaps difficult to speak of Moses Gold without mentioning the fact that he was one of the brains behind Christian AIDS or today known as the audio-visual duo Stay+, but ever since 'parting' from the band, Moses Gold has kept his head low trying to focus on creating something entirely of his own. Approximately four months ago, his first public release "Luvsick" was uploaded on Soundcloud — a gloomy trance trip for darker souls, and here at NFOP we've been waiting in excitement for his next appearance. Finally getting around to organize some of his first ever live shows, it is indeed very exciting to see where the future of Moses Gold is gonna lead. The video for "Luvsick" (below) might not be exactly as we personally predicted - it is perhaps a bit too obvious, but oh, quite sweet nonetheless.
If you're hanging around in Manchester this summer you might be able to catch his return back to the stage, and we can pretty much ensure you that it will be a rather different visual (and aural) experience than to what you can see below, or even to Stay+ in general. Here's a copy-paste from his facebook:
"I've spent the last few months in a cycle of work, sleep and depression, in the hope that one day I would find my way back to the stage. The phrase "Stay Positive" has never meant so much. It is my belief that electronic music should be presented in a way that both challenges and engages the audience. And just like Christian AIDS, I am going to put my heart and soul into everything I do."
