Atta Atta. Incidentally named after a 2002 play/project by the great, late German theater and film director
Christoph Schlingensief (for whom he'd briefly worked), Berlin University of the Arts alumnus Matz has delivered a stunning work of playful, explorative electronica. Deeply indebted to different strands of contemporary bass, heavy on the percussive ends and with an enormous attention to arrangement,
Atta Atta offers an intriguing variety of sounds that will work in a club context just as well as for the daily commute.
