It's faint to realize how long it has actually been since we last heard anything from
Birthdays, the charming weirdo and creator of rich, psychedelic pop recorded in the hip Boston neighbourhood Allston. Sammy has however been keeping himself busy — constantely on tour (most recently in Japan), changing people's imagination of weird psych-pop little by little, often accompanied by his best friend
Little Spoon. As the two of them are ready to kick off a
US tour starting today at the lovely Boston collective Dreamhouse, his self-titled EP has finally found its way to the cassette and mp3 format; packed with euphoric, psychedelic jams that we've been dying to hear on record for oh so long.
