As proven by a recent feature on Thump, the folks who run Edmonton-based vinyl imprint Normals Welcome are a lovely and enthusiastic bunch that deserve all the support they can get, not least because of that unrivaled name they've chosen for their venture. One of those smart and sincere people is local producer Nik Kozub, who aside from co-running the label and fronting "volatile dance music" outfit Shout Out Out Out Out has also started dropping tunes as The Paronomasiac for a little while now. His upcoming debut 12" Stress Appeal marks the 16th release of Normals Welcome, and below you may take an exclusive listen to flip side track "You Got Me", a tune that's every bit as groovy and celestial as you'd expect a house offering to be that arrives right in time for the outdoor season. If we considered "deep house" a thing then we'd probably file it somewhere along those lines, but as we don't we'll keep it succinct: RIYL sand under your feet, the setting sun on your head, and/or life in general.
