Utterly impressed by this tranquilized, husky new tune from the Portland-duo The Slaves, whom just announced that their debut LP
Spirits of the Sun is coming out next month on
Digitalis. "River" has a doom-drenched, mysterious feel, however breaking into landscapes of shoegaze throughout its lush nine minutes and fifty-three seconds, making your consciousness want to float silently over stormy shorelines, watching the landscape unfold beneath your feet.
