Dark Acid is the first in a series of 12" records that explore the shadier corners of the dancefloor, a new direction that is quite surprising for UK goth/cold wave/leftfield/weirdo pop imprint Clan Destine Records. Sold under the name 'Clan Destine Traxx' and coming in strictly limited editions of 250, the concept appears to aim at more classically indebted yet resolutely autonomous electronic music explorations of both under-the-radar and already more or less established artists. Dark Acid features tracks by Dungeon Acid, Ron Hardly, Luke Wyatt aka Torn Hawk, Worker/Parasite, and Australian producer Eugene Hector aka Dro Carey, here once again operating under his Tuff Sherm guise.
