Just like Emily Reo or Mutual Benefit, Katie Kim's take on DIY bedroom pop is something of very high quality, which indeed makes us wonder why her songs haven't been heard by more people already. Like a stripped-down Chelsea Wofle, "The Feast" takes place in an icy landscape du noir, somehow denying all existense of human emotion — only to prove the exact opposite.
