Here's an enchanting track from the
Padang Food Tigers titled "For Esmé". It's off their upcoming
Ready Country Nimbus LP, which is being released by the wonderfully eclectic, Asheville, North Carolina based cassette and vinyl label
Bathetic Records. The video, which was directed by
Mark Kuykendall, is a perfectly charming accompaniment to the song's pensive, slightly wistful nature. Using what I assume is found footage, Kuykendall's visuals work well to enhance the already present nostalgia that the song itself conjures up, yielding a wonderfully fluid result.
