Our favourite Lone Star fellow Lance Smith aka Pandit returns with a perfect Sunday afternoon treat, four minutes of blissful dream pop of the shoegazey kind, Creek Bed is a splendid wall of sound built up by washed out guitars and synths heavily drenched in reverb accompanied by distant and echo-laden vocals, a piece made for reclining on a riverbank in the hazy sunlight, just watching the water flow by.

Creek Bed was produced for the highly anticipated and hopefully very soon arriving White Guys With Beards & Friends Vol. Three, so thanks a lot to Lance and WGWB's Brian Wood for letting me post this little teaser.

Regarding Pandit's upcoming full length on Lefse Records, we're gonna have to wait until January to see its release, but at least there's hope that we'll be blessed with a little cassette EP on Orchid Tapes sometime later this year.
